Scalp Med Complete Care Kit Check Today's Price | $$$ | Minoxidil | No | 3.8/5 |
This article is all about my Scalp Med review. Losing your hair can be a very traumatic experience and once you start to lose your hair you will be destined to try just about anything and everything that someone makes. Manufacturers know this and will bring things to the market that make it sound good. They know that they just have to create that little shred of hope that someone thing will work and make that sale. This is why you should evaluate everything like I do, to ensure that you will take the claim with a grain of salt and research what the active ingredients are.
ScalpMed claims that they treat hair loss, receding hairline, shedding, and other causes of hair loss at the source, which may be the scalp, they don’t really say, but I am assuming that is where it is since that is where you apply ScalpMed. They also say that you won’t need a toupee, hair transplant, or have any type of sexual side effects from it as well. They guarantee the results, but you only have 30 days to try it out and they will only accept the unopened packages back, so there isn’t a refund on the products that you have tried.
Scalp Med review
Basically this is Minoxidil mixed with other ingredients, so it will work, but how well is yet to be seen. It says that it has a patented formula, which it does, but patents are for products that are unique and novel, not always the ones that work.
They say that it takes 60 days which is the recommended time for you to see results, is rather convenient. You have to consider that you will need a long term commitment to use ScalpMed because of the Minoxidil. When it comes down to it, it just doesn’t really take the cake in my book. Other products are better. The Minoxidil may help with hair thinning, but won’t work if you are totally bald, or if you have frontal hair loss, and if you stop taking it, you will lose your hair again.
Pros:
- Can stop hair loss
- Stimulate hair growth
- Those with male pattern baldness may experience hair regrowth
Cons:
- Price point
- Contains Minoxidil
- If you stop using the hair loss treatment, your hair falls out
Final word
Since it is really unclear about what the other ingredients are, and since the main ingredient is Minoxidil, it just makes more sense to use the generic forms that you can buy elsewhere. You are not going to beat the big pharma to the hair loss solution, so don’t worry about being the dark for this one.
